Danilo Pichardo

Grammy Awarded Music Producer/Audio Engineer

Danilo Pichardo is a 2-time Grammy Award-nominated and 1-time Grammy Award-winning music producer, mixer, and recording engineer. Additionally, he has been nominated for a Latin Grammy. Over the last decade, Danilo has collaborated with Grammy-awarded artists like Miguel Zenon and Latin Grammy-awarded Vicente Garcia, as well as bands including Kodaline, Obie Bermudez, Jeremy Bosch, Jonathan Suazo, David Rivera, and Milly Quezada. His talents extend to film composition, with his work featured in the HBO film, The Least Worst Man.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Puerto Rico, Danilo embarked on his musical journey at 12, playing the electric guitar, and began his professional career at 17. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Music from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, he relocated to New York City to further his studies. He attended SAE NYC for audio production, participated in the 5-week summer program at Berklee College of Music, and studied music composition for media at the Juilliard School's extension program. Danilo's professional path as a music producer commenced in 2012 at the legendary Eastside Sound Recording Studio in NYC.

As a sought-after freelance audio engineer and producer, Danilo records in some of the most iconic studios in the United States, including Eastside Sound (NYC), The Bunker Studio (NYC), Samurai Hotel (Queens, NY), Virtue and Vice (Brooklyn), Boulevard Recording (LA), AQ30 (Puerto Rico), and Pasillo Sonoro (Puerto Rico).

Beyond studio production, Danilo has contributed as an audio engineer for projects at the United Nations Headquarters and served as an FOH (Front-of-House) engineer for major corporate events for companies like Google, YouTube, and Chase.
